i dont like harper -- i think hes to deep in american politics to want to properly represent canadians. i personaly think that our best option would be to diversify our markets enough that american buisness is less than 25%of our global consumers. It would take awhile but it would help to stabilize and expand our markets.

Im sick of canada getting fucked in nafta. Its a terrible deal. Almost as badas the NEP -- i dont like that i liove ontop of the largest oil reserve outside of the middle east and my oil prices are higher than in the rest of my country. I also dont like that our province only taxes oil profits by 1%. These people are RAPING the earth, people, and economy. And were taking home 1%???? jeez. The ceo of 1 company is taking home over a grand a day. Hes making over 350 000 a year -- not including his private investments and massive benifits and gazzillion dollar pension.

Im sorry -- i dont like it when corprations get to fuck with my environment - i dont like it when corperations make massive profits by killing the environment - and i dont like it when they charge me hand and foot for a product and then go run off with all the profits. (i expecially hate it when they do all 3 at once)

Trickle down theory my ass -- Reagan didnt realize that the rich have a tendancy to find the best ways of "preserving" thier wealth.

Give the middle calss some money - thats where the economic movement will be made. Small buisness and such.

He put me here. Ill do my damndest to listen but reading some old book seems contrived for god. Wheres my burning bush? (i found God. He told me thatbeing christian had othing to do with church or the bible. FUCK I HATE THESE PEOPLE: They say -- "god crys when he sees us doing this shit" -- no he dosnt. God cant cry. "he" is god. STOP TRYING TO PERSONIFY HIM. And if god is that upset then why the fuck would he give us shit thats going to make us fuck up. Read the bible -- god made us sinfull creatures. Life with sin teaches responsibility and wisdom. I was an asshole to pot smokers before i rolled a few joints. Now i love them.

My point? God doesnt give a shit if you said your prayers. God wants you to live your life. So stop parading god around as a moralistic judge and let people chose religion and personal morality for themselves.

2: Capitalism is killing more than war ever will. Capitalism isnt bad -- just the abuses of it. I would gladly give over tax dollars to medicare. Not everyone can afford food or medicine. so what does it say about our concept of freedom when a free people (palistinains) elect a leader in a free and fair election and we refuse to accept it. thats freedom on a third partys terms. i dont think thats free. So today i was in statistics... and i started to think... whats the point of grading large groups on a curve? Isnt the purpose of the course to teache material? And if the students learn the material isnt that what there there for? In effect, a curve could fail you iff you got an A- and give you an A+ if the rest of the class did worse...

Canadian elctions you say? I am angered because of canadian politics.... Everyone has to be a NDP, LIBERAL, or CONSERVATIVE. (forget bloc... thats facist shit eating canada haters...) Went to my religion class. Thats actually really interesting it seems. Its different from the other religious course material because its taken from a not quite so mundementalist view. (The bible is to be interpreted and some things arnt relevant). I like that. Man when i went to CUC in lacombe i would get in savage arguments with people. Wanna raise hell? Go into an ethics class full of fundementalist seventh day adventists and claim that a fetus is nothing more that a tumor in the first part of its "life". Jeepers.

It was a nice campus but the classes, living arrangements and "rules" were deameaning to me. Ill whinge about that later too. So heres a Picture of some CUC campus...

Well- its still my first day of blogging. Interesting no? But i a going to eat some chicken in beeeer. mmmm. I love beer. I love chicken. mmmm. and bananas.

Why is it that the best books are fantasy and the worst books are fantasy? Some books are so haunting and wonderful. And some books are deamaening to my brain. Take for instance Terry Goodkinds "sword of truth" books as my girlfriend behind me says - WIZARDS FIRST RULE IS A GREAT BOOK. But theres also the issue that 8 sequel books follow. Not bad i think... I read star wars, and that had lots of great sequels. (prequels not so much)

So richard, or hero is proclaimed master rahl and Super wizard. Thing is, he doesnt take even an instant of his time to learn about his "WHUP ASS" super powers. So there he is - like sampson whithout his hair. Secondly he is the seeker of truth. His job is to debase lies and uneat cruel rullers by getting to the bottom of things. Yet after book 3 all he does is play jesus. In one book - i am not kidding- he stands on a mountain top and lectures about morality, and wright and wrong, and how these people need to change their lives. So hes not oncovering truth... hes spewing it. Not so much a seeker of truth now is he? Not only that but the one romance in the story is not a romance at all. What was a great pairing developed into a EXTREMELY OVER USED PLOT DEVICE. Kahlan/Richard gets kidnapped. Other party desires their death, or to rape them. Richard or kahlan saves the day and get back together for 15 seconds. Lather rinse repeat. FUCK.

Couple more things: Why does rape have to be such a prvalent source of writing? Half of each book is a description of some woman being taken to the sheets unwillingly. Its like the author gets off on it. I can see him. writing. and beating off with the other hand. Rape is evil yes - but it doesnt have to be the main evil just to make the villan HORRIBLE. There are litteraly 50+ pages in a row about how richard is captured by this S&M lady who tortures his penis and rapes him against his will. JEEZUZ! What the hell? Terry - make a fantasy story. not a "fantasy" story. I know rape can be a powerfull way to demonize a character but ITS NOT THE ONLY WAY!
